1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, accessing, or using GameBrek, you agree to these Terms of Service and any additional policies or notices provided within the app or on our website.

2. Eligibility

You must be legally capable of entering into a binding agreement to use GameBrek. If you are under the age of majority in your jurisdiction, you should use GameBrek only with permission from a parent or legal guardian.

3. Description of the service

GameBrek is a digital wellbeing and focus app designed to help users manage access to mobile games and other distracting apps during intentional focus sessions. Features may include protected app selection, focus session controls, reminders, recovery flows, on-device recommendations, optional premium features, and limited connected reliability services.

GameBrek is currently operated by Md Abir Hossain.

4. Accounts and access

GameBrek does not currently require a traditional personal account to use core functionality. Some backend features may use a pseudonymous technical identifier to support reliability, diagnostics, or limited telemetry processing.

5. Device permissions and functionality

Some GameBrek features depend on Android permissions and system settings, such as Accessibility Service, Usage Access, notification permission, and battery optimisation exemption. If required permissions are not granted or are later disabled, some protection features may not function reliably or at all.

6. Subscriptions and premium features

Some GameBrek features may be offered as paid subscriptions or premium upgrades. Where purchases are made through Google Play, billing, renewals, cancellations, and refunds are generally handled through your Google Play account and subject to Google Play policies. Unless otherwise stated, subscriptions may renew automatically until cancelled through the platform used for purchase.

7. Acceptable use

You agree not to use GameBrek in violation of law, interfere with or disrupt the app or related services, circumvent subscription controls or security features, misuse protected parts of the app, or use GameBrek in a fraudulent, abusive, harmful, or deceptive manner.

8. User responsibility and safety

You are responsible for how you configure and use GameBrek, including focus sessions, protected apps, recovery settings, and device permissions. GameBrek is intended to support focus and intentional breaks, but it may not prevent every interruption, app launch, or workaround on every device or in every environment.

9. No medical or clinical advice

GameBrek is a digital wellbeing and focus tool. It is not a medical device, mental health service, diagnostic tool, or substitute for professional medical, psychological, or clinical advice.

10. Intellectual property and feedback

GameBrek, including its app design, branding, interface, code, text, graphics, logos, and related content, is owned by or licensed to us and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. If you send suggestions, ideas, bug reports, or feedback, you grant us the right to use that feedback for product improvement without obligation to compensate you.

11. Availability, disclaimers, and limitation of liability

We may modify, update, suspend, or discontinue parts of GameBrek where reasonably necessary for product improvement, maintenance, legal compliance, or security. To the maximum extent permitted by law, GameBrek is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

12. Governing law and changes

These Terms will be governed by the laws of England and Wales unless a different governing law is required by applicable consumer protection law in your place of residence. We may update these Terms from time to time and will update the “Last updated” date when we do.
